ISE's modular cassette design is light weight and scalable, which simplifies and reduces manufacturing and maintenance costs. The modular architecture also makes upgrading easier as cell technology advances.

Individual cell monitoring and balancing facilitates integrated thermal management and redundant safety capabilities.
